Fall in Philadelphia

On our last night in Aruba, we decided to go out to dinner. Nancy picked a beautiful place right on the ocean. As we watched the sun set over the water, we talked about someday coming back to Aruba because it’s so beautiful, warm, and breezy.

We left Aruba on August 31st to return to our beloved Philly. Great flight home…except once we landed, we both felt terrible. We stayed at Nancy’s late husband’s daughter’s home in Media (Hi Berrie and Brad). Nancy developed a hacking cough and John had GI issues (no need to get into any additional details).
After a week in Media, we moved to an Airbnb on Vine St. in Philly. While in Philly John eventually got better; Nancy got worse. She went to the doctor's and found out she has pneumonia! With some good meds she's finally on the mend.
We came back to the US instead of going to another nomadic spot because John was told by his dermatologist that he “may have a skin cancer on his nose.” But after having a biopsy last week, it turns out he’s cancer free! So, planning begins for the next leg of the nomadic journey.
We hung up a world map in our apartment and started looking at places to go. We’re thinking of maybe Portugal and Spain for the fall. Our only problem is that we’re not that familiar with either. So, we’re asking you, our readers, to give us some suggestions on ‘where’ to go next. So, please add a comment below to tell us where else we might enjoy. That gives you the opportunity to help plans our nomadic adventures! You could even include France if you’re bold!
So, put on your thinking caps and help us plan our next adventure.
So long until next time!
John and Nancy
